NS 101 . Introduction to Nursing (2)
Introduces concepts of theories that serve as a framework for nursing practice, current and emerging role of nursing within the health care delivery system, ethical and legal aspects of nursing practice, current and future trends in nursing and health care, levels of nursing practice, management, communication, teaching/learning and nursing process. Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing program and a minimum grade of “C” in BY 231 , EH 101 , and PY 100 .
