EC 402. Macroeconometrics with R (3)


This is an accelerated course in Intermediate Macroeconomics that includes the study of the forces determining the level of income, employment, and growth in the economic system. Uses and coordination of monetary and fiscal policy will be analyzed. Additionally, macroeconomic data will be used to examine these theories using various cross sectional and times series methods. Students will be required to become extremely competent in using R. Prerequisites: "C" or higher in EC 201 EC 202 , and BQ 271 .  "C" or higher in MH 121  or MH 266 .
