CS 280. Network Communication (3)

An introduction to the fundamentals of data communications and computer networks. Provides the student with a conceptual foundation for the study of data communications using the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layered architecture model. Both technical and managerial aspects of data communications and networks are covered. Prerequisites: "C" or higher in
MH 113
and "C" or higher in CS 210 or "C" or higher in CS 205 for non-CIS majors.
