AFS 230. Air Power Development (1) A study of the development of air power from balloons and dirigibles through the World War II era. The course includes technological impact on aviation, American attitudes toward aviation, development of doctrine and policy governing employment of air power, and growth of aviation through World War II. Emphasis is placed on effective oral communication. One hour lecture and a one and one-half hour lab per week. Offered fall semester only. Corequisites:
