CO 558. Practicum in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (3)
Students will complete a supervised counseling practicum experience in an approved clinical mental health setting that totals a minimum of 100 clock hours over a minimum of a ten-week period, with at least 40 clock hours of direct client service, with one hour individual or triadic supervision by a qualified supervisor and an average of 1.5 hours per week group supervision. There is a synchronous requirement for this course. Professional liability insurance is required prior to starting the practicum hours. Prerequisites: CO 500 , CO 508 , CO 541 , and CO 551 .
