FI 511. Behavioral Finance and Organizational Decisions (3)


This course is a study of the key psychological obstacles to value-maximizing behaviors and methods of mitigating their effects. Topics include the underlying factors and processes that result in non-optimal decisions; perceptions about risk and reward and financial decision making in the areas of investing, trading, valuation, capital budgeting, capital structure, dividend policy, agency conflicts, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Prerequisites: Grade of "P" in BA 501 . Course fee: $55.00.
