HY 583. Oral History/Folklore (3)
This course will train students to conduct oral history interviews and folklore field work. The course will cover advanced preparation for a recording, interview techniques, processing transcripts, utilizing equipment, as well as instructing students on practices for using the information in research and writing. Prerequisites: HY 586 and HY 586 . Course fee: $22.50.
