CO 548. Practicum in School Counseling (3)

Students will complete a counseling practicum experience in an approved school setting that totals a minimum of 100 clock hours over two consecutive terms, with at least 40 clock hours of direct client service, and one hour individual or triadic supervision by a qualified supervisor and an average of 1.5 hours per week group supervision. There is a synchronous requirement for this course. Professional liability insurance is required prior to starting the practicum. Prerequisites: CO 500 , CO 509 , CO 540 , and CO 541 . Course fee: $150.00.
