AFS 120. Heritage and Values (1) 'Heritage and Values' provides an introduction to the Air and Space Forces, allowing students to examine general aspects of the Department of the Air Force, leadership fundamentals, service benefits, and opportunities for officers. The course also lays the foundation for becoming an Air or Space professional by outlining heritage and values. This course provides a historical perspective on airpower providing students with a knowledge-level understanding for the employment of air and space power, from an institutional, doctrinal, and historical perspective. Students will be introduced to the Air Force way of life and gain knowledge on what it means to be an Air or Space professional. Leadership Laboratory is mandatory for AFROTC cadets and complements this course by providing cadets with followership experiences. Corequisites: .
