BY 558. Subtropical Ecology

This course will provide an introduction to habitats and ecosystems of subtropical Florida. Students will gain insight into the natural and cultural history of some of the most unique and diverse habitats in North America. Three lecture hours per week and a required extended laboratory field trip to reinforce lecture materials. As part of this course, students will submit a research paper on a relevant topic and present findings as part of course requirements.
