CO 509. Pre-Practicum in Counseling with Residency

An experiential course involving applied elements of theoretical models and customary helping skills to orient and prepare students for their initial supervised work with counseling clients, as well as completion of site paperwork. The course includes a multiple day in-person residency requirement. The course must be completed in one academic semester. Prerequisites: CO 500 , CO 501 , CO 541 , and CO 546 .
