CO 503. Legal and Ethical Issues in Counseling

Students will engage in an overview of critical professional issues in counseling, with emphasis on current ethical and legal standards. Students will review specific code of ethics from the American Counseling Association and the American School Counseling Association. State legal codes based on student location are examined. Prerequisites: CO 500 along with either CO 501 or CO 540 .
