Students transferring from Alabama public two-year and four-year colleges and universities should consult the AGSC site for complete details regarding Areas I-IV for all majors, including the list of approved courses for each institution. Specific requirements for students majoring in English: Language Arts Teacher Certification at Alabama public two-year schools and for UWA pre-English majors are included below.

Area II - Humanities and Fine Arts (15 semester hours)
AGSC: There are no specific courses required for majors beyond the AGSC requirements.
