High School Certification 6-12

Educator candidates working on educator certification in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Science, Mathematics, English Language Arts, History, and Social Science must complete the following courses in professional education. Educator candidates must have junior or senior standing in order to enroll in the courses marked with an asterisk. Educator candidates must be unconditionally admitted to the Educator Preparation Program to enroll in ED 409. Internship, Pre-School through Grade Twelve (12) .

ED 333. Reading Methods Secondary/P-12 (3)
One of the following five courses based on selected major:

ED 384. Methods of Teaching Physical Education (3) *
ED 385. Methods of Teaching Science (3) *
ED 386. Methods of Teaching Social Science (3) *
ED 400. Measurement and Assessment (3) *
ED 405. Technology and Education (3)
ED 408. Technology Portfolio (1) *
SE 400. Introduction to Special Education (3) *
ED 409. Internship, Pre-School through Grade Twelve (12) *
