Program Admission Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2.75 grade point average (four-point scale) or graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree or higher with a minimum of 3.0 grade point average (four-point scale).
Students who do not meet the undergraduate GPA requirement, but have a minimum GPA of 2.5 will be given the opportunity to demonstrate an ability to succeed at the graduate level by successfully completing MBA 500** and 12 credit hours while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. The academic unit will re-assess students’ ability to continue in MBA program after assessing grades earned in first four (4) courses.
** NOTE: MBA 500. Assessment and Orientation (0) must be completed during first semester or online term of enrollment in the MBA program. A grade of “P” is required prior to enrolling in any AC, EC, FI, or BQ course, and MG 590 and BQ 570 . Students who have earned a 475 on the GMAT may be exempted from MBA 500 .
A score of 80% or higher must be achieved on initial (self) assessments in the areas of Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Statistics of MBA 500 . If an 80% or higher is not achieved on the above assessments, a student must pay for and successfully complete the applicable leveling course(s) embedded in MBA 500 with a minimum score of 70%.
