Program Admission Requirements

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2.75 grade point average (four-point scale) or graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree or higher with a minimum of 3.0 grade point average (four-point scale). Students with a 2.75 GPA and an undergraduate business degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Computer Information Systems are not required to take BA 501 Foundations of Business.  Other business majors must have a "C" or higher in basic business courses in Accounting I & II, Economics I & II, Finance, and two courses in Business Statistical Analysis to avoid the BA 501  requirement. Students who have earned a 475 on the GMAT may be exempted from BA 501

Students who do not meet the undergraduate GPA requirement, but have a minimum GPA of 2.5 will be admitted on a conditional basis. As part of the conditional status, students will be required to take one course their first semester, BA 501 , and pass it with a grade of "P" or higher to continue in the program.

The MBA Program has two specific tracks, a nine-hour emphasis track and an 18-hour specialization track. Students wishing to change from an emphasis track to a specialization track must do so prior to graduating from the MBA Program. Students who have graduated from the MBA Program and want to earn more hours in their chosen business field will have to choose a different master's degree program such as General Studies.

Project I and Project II courses can only be taken when earning a specialization and cannot be taken when earning an emphasis.
