A survey of life and geological settings through time, including methods, principles of evolution and stratigraphy, practical experience with collecting and analyzing fossils, and cultural implications. Three lecture hours and three laboratory hours per week. Prerequisites: Eight hours of biology and GE 102 , or permission of instructor. Course fee: $100.00.
