Bioenergetics, community structure, population dynamics, predation, competition, and speciation in marine ecosystems. Twenty-four hours of lecture/field work/laboratory for five weeks. Research project required. Prerequisites: BY 212 General Botany, BY 222 General Zoology, CH 112 General Chemistry II, and PH 201 College Physics I (see Undergraduate Catalog).
