EX 451. Exercise Testing and Prescription (3)


Understanding the health-related and physical fitness components and their application to the science of fitness programming. The purpose of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the various techniques used in exercise testing and prescription for various populations; field and/or laboratory experiences included. Prerequisites: BY 231  and AH 200  or EX 200  or HPE 200  or PE 200  or SM 200  and six hours from the following: Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Physical Education and/or Sport Management.  Course fee: $10.00.
