PE 444. Exercise Physiology Credits: 4 Review of the physiological basis of human movement, including basic anatomy, the muscular system, energy systems, and examination of the relationship of fundamental laws of physiology applied to human movement. The primary goal of this class is to acquaint students with knowledge, understanding and value of the study of physical exercise as related to fitness, physical education, sports and work performance. Three lecture hours and two laboratory hours per week. Prerequisites: BY 231 and AH 200 or EX 200 or HPE 200 or PE 200 or SM 200 and six hours from the following: Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Physical Education and/or Sport Management.
