HY 300. Historical Methodologies and PracticesA writing-intensive introduction to the theoretical and philosophical approaches to history. The class will prepare students for senior-level history courses and for their senior year seminar projects. Special attention will be paid to the conventions of historical writing and the historian's craft. Prerequisites: Sophomore standing and at least nine hours of 100 and 200-level history courses. Grade of "C" or higher to pass.
