NS 102. Foundations of Nursing Practice I

This course introduces concepts that serve as a framework for nursing practice, current and emerging roles of nursing within the health care delivery system, ethical and legal aspects of nursing practice, current and future trends in nursing and healthcare, levels of nursing practice, management, communication, teaching/learning, clinical judgment, safety, hygiene, mobility, vital signs, physical assessment, and elimination.
