PE 200. Foundations of Health and Physical Education

An introduction to the profession includes theories of education and learning; education requirements for various certifications, both in teaching, exercise science and sport management; historical development of physical education and health behaviors; professional organizations and career opportunities. The student will develop a personal philosophy and set career goals.
