At least one of the following sequences: 6 hours
At least one of the following 400-level courses in English Literature before 1800: 3 hours
At least one of the following 400-level courses in English Literature after 1800: 3 hours
At least one of the following 400-level courses in American Literature: 3 hours
At least one of the following: 3 hours
Publishing Track: 9 hours
Two hours of one of the following and one hour of the other: 3 hours
Note(s):
- This program must be completed in conjunction with a minor or double major in another field.
- At least twelve hours of a foreign language and a survey course in English history are also suggested for English majors, especially those intending to enter graduate school.
- The total number of hours in EH 370 , EH 379 , and EH 470 that an English major or minor may use in meeting major requirements is limited to four.
