Technology Programs
The Technology Program's mission is to develop critical thinking skills and knowledge of technologies to prepare students for employment in areas of industry, business, governmental, or service agencies. Successful completion of the curriculum will provide a background in liberal arts, natural sciences, mathematics, and industrial management, with skills in the use of machines, tools, and computers, including but not limited to knowledge of industrial design, materials, and processes.
Industrial Maintenance Degree
The Industrial Maintenance Program offers to interested students a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree. The program is student-centered, career-oriented and designed to provide skills and knowledge necessary to meet the general maintenance demands of business, industry, and government agencies. In addition, the Industrial Maintenance graduate will qualify for admission to other technology majors. The student must select approved electives appropriately. This program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
The minimum number of hours required for the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Maintenance is 63 semester hours.
General Education Basic Curriculum: 18 hours
Industrial Maintenance: 42 hours
