Unlike other majors in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, this major along with the basic curriculum will not satisfy degree completion requirements. Students choosing this major must also choose a minor or another major.

Degree programs offered by the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics share a common core of courses. Students in these programs must complete the Basic Curriculum and the major curriculum detailed below.
