The mission of the Mechanical Engineering Technology degree is to provide critical thinking skills and knowledge of engineering technologies. The Mechanical Engineering Technology degree provides students with a background in applied mechanical technology courses by combining hands-on laboratory training with mathematics, science, and general education. Successful graduates often seek employment in fields such as production, design, engineering, construction, and manufacturing and operations.

*UWA 101 is required for beginning freshmen at UWA and for transfer students who transfer fewer than 20 hours.
Degree programs offered by the Division of Engineering and Technology share a common core of courses. Students in these programs must complete the Basic Curriculum and the major curriculum below.
