The Business Professional Component requires 39-40 hours and must be completed by all students in the Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, and Marketing majors. Students in the Quantitative Finance and Econometrics major are required to complete 34 hours in the Business Professional Component.

*One additional elective hour will be required with this course. This course is available only with permission of the Dean.
It is recommended to take the above courses in the following order: AC 211 , AC 212 , BA 263 , MK 300 , MG 300 , FI 300 , BQ 371 , MG 370 , MG 390 , BA 420 , BA 450 , MG 490 . All incoming juniors should begin the Professional Development series of courses with BA 401 and complete the series consecutively until completing BA 404 in the student's last semester.
Should the student complete the required Business Professional Component courses, but not the required hours due to differences in transfer credit, the student should complete the remaining hours at the discretion of the Dean.
