Exploratory Major

The Exploratory Major allows UWA students to investigate options before declaring a degree-granting major. Students enrolled in the Exploratory Major will complete the UWA Basic Curriculum, UWA101 (if applicable), and up-to eight credit hours of exploratory courses. The Exploratory Major is not a degree-granting major. Students must enroll in a degree-granting major once they complete 50 credit hours in this program, if not before. 

Degree programs offered by the College of Liberal Arts and its departments share a common core of courses. Students in these programs should complete the Basic Curriculum  and the major curriculum listed below.
