BA 580. Business Analytics and Intelligence (3)


Methodologies and issues related to the design and completion of business research projects through which intelligence is gained and used to facilitate the rendering of human business decisions. Topics include SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, ratio analysis, and other data analysis that is especially useful for business research (focus groups, customer visits, conjoint analysis, and multidimensional scaling). Topics also include the use of intelligence cycle to influence product and service designs, to influence or embellish human decisions, and to enhance overall strategic competitiveness. Prerequisites: BQ 570  and a grade of "P" in BA 501 . Course fee: $55.00.
