NS 103. Foundations of Nursing Practice II

This course further expands the use of the nursing process and critical thinking in assisting patients in adapting to conditions that are short-term or chronic in nature. Guidance in developing an evidence-based plan and implementing caring interventions is included. The course explores concepts and basic skills related to infection control and prevention, perioperative care, fluid/electrolyte and acid/base balance, orthopedics, and musculoskeletal conditions.
