The Human Performance Comprehensive degree program is designed for students who have multiple interests within the various fields of human performance and kinesiology and who desire a broad based degree within these areas. The program allows students to create a personalized degree in Human Performance by completing at least 21 hours of coursework in two separate major concentrations from the following disciplines: athletic training, exercise science, physical education and sport management. Students must complete a total of 60 hours within the chosen courses and must meet all prerequisites for the selected coursework in order to meet degree requirements. Students in the Human Performance Comprehensive degree program must complete a 60-credit hour basic curriculum, must complete a total of 120 semester hours, one-third of which are upper level, and must maintain a 2.0 in the basic curriculum and in the selected areas of study in order to meet graduation requirements. The major is a comprehensive degree program and does not require a minor.
Please note that courses in the professional component of the Athletic Training Comprehensive Major, Physical Education Comprehensive P-12 Major requiring acceptance into those programs are not eligible for this degree.
